On the Tuesdays of June 21 and Sept. 20, Empire Merchants had the opportunity to again provide dinner at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, located at 132 West 32nd Street in Manhattan.
Volunteers arrived at the Hope Lodge and helped serve dinner to many patients and their caregivers. It was a great opportunity for associates from all divisions to join together in a volunteer effort. The Hope Lodge is a facility that offers no-cost lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers. It provides a home-like environment for the patients. The patients appreciated the efforts and the Empire team has enjoyed their time giving back to the community. We are proud of the many volunteers that took the time to make this possible.
Thank you to all who helped out: John Bradley, Edward Schwatrz, Illona Faymanova, Mark Raffa, Shuana Bilotto, Jay Salkin, Carolyn Hartley, Cherita Dinanath, Rosa Cerrato, Edward Droge, Sheldon Ng.
Empire Merchants looks forward to working together with the American Cancer Society in the future at the Hope Lodge. If you would like to volunteer your time, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
